At Texas Corners Animal Hospital, our mission is to provide compassionate veterinary care and the highest quality medical, surgical, and dental care available to your pet. We offer wellness services to assist your pet in living a longer, healthier, and happier life, while embracing and enhancing the special relationship between our clients and their pets.

In order to provide you with great service we will treat you as family and your pets as if they were our own. Our veterinarians and staff will tend to every need of your cherished pet, with comprehensive veterinary care and professional support to you as an owner.

  • Lauren (Ren) O.

    Years in Practice: 1

    Education: attending Glen Oaks Community College

    Lauren was born in Kalamazoo and lives in Mendon with her parents, older brother and two dogs, Sophie and Milo. She was involved in Future Farmers of America (FFA) during her junior and senior years in high school, where she served as her chapter's Vice President. Lauren now attends Glen Oaks Community College and is studying to receive an Associates in Applied Science degree. She then plans to transfer to Michigan State University to attend their Veterinary Technician program.

     Education: Ross Medical Education Center

    Lauren was born and raised in Three Rivers, Michigan, where she currently resides with her son, Oakley. Growing up, Lauren always had a passion for animals which she cultivated by participating in 4-H for 7 years. Lauren returned to school at Ross Medical Education Center in 2017, where she graduated with her Approved Veterinary Assistant certification. Upon graduation, she began working at Texas Corners Animal Hospital. Lauren has a dog named Sophie as well as a cat named Mufasa.

     Education: Ross Medical Education Center

    Jessica was born in Kalamazoo and raised in Otsego, Michigan. She joined the Navy after high school and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia on the USS Harry S. Truman. After serving four years, Jessica attended Ross Medical Education Center in 2017 and received her Approved Veterinary Assistant certification. She began working at Texas Corners Animal Hospital after graduation. Jessica and her husband, John (also a Navy vet) have two dogs, Ellie and Layla; a cat, Alice and a handful of chickens and ducks.

     Education: Ross Medical Education Center

    Shana was born and raised in Vicksburg, Michigan. In addition to having dogs and cats growing up, Shana participated in 4-H showing animals. Shana started at Texas Corners Animal Hospital in 2014 following her Approved Veterinary Assistant certificate program at Ross Medical Education Center. Shana lives with her fiance Dan and their son, Andrew. Andrew is accompanied by his feline siblings, Mamacita, Church and Minion, a 17 year-old red-eared slider turtle named Raph, two rats named Ben and Jerry, and two beautiful snakes named Ragnar and Bella-Bee Outside of work, Shana enjoys nature walks with her family, reading a good book and watching Netflix.

    Licensed Veterinary Technician

     Education: Southwestern Michigan College Baker College of Jackson

    Jacki was born in Illinois and moved to Michigan when she was eight years old. Jacki has an Associates in Science from Southwestern Michigan College and received her Associates in Applied Science, Veterinary Technology from Baker College in 2006. After graduating, Jacki began working at Kalamazoo Animal Hospital and Southwestern Michigan Animal Emergency Hospital then transferred to Texas Corners Animal Hospital in 2007. Jacki lives in Three Rivers with her husband Andy, son Max, cats (Mister and Duke), dogs (Abbie, Jiri and Candy), guinea pig (PigPig) and a leopard gecko (Tokay). In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching hockey and working on her various yarn projects (which never seem to end!).

    Hospital Manager

    Years in Practice: 15

    Misty was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2001, she moved to Three Rivers, Michigan with her husband and four children. Misty has been working in the veterinary profession since 2003, joined Texas Corners in Spring 2010 and became Office Manager in 2017. She has fivel dogs (Emmy, Sophie, Peanut, Itty Bitty and Gizmo), three cats (Tony, Sylvester and Xiao) as well as a snake and a hamster. Misty enjoys watching basketball, floating in her pool, crocheting and spending time with her family.

  • Tom Robinson
    DVM | Associate Veterinarian

    Years in Practice: 6
     Education: Michigan State University
     Special Interests: Oncology, Surgery and Diagnostic

    Dr. Robinson is the second youngest of nine children born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. Veterinary medicine is a second career for Dr. Robinson. He currently holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering from Kettering University and the University of Michigan respectively. He worked in the automotive industry for over ten years before leaving to follow his dream of becoming a veterinarian. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and spent the first 2 years practicing in the Detroit area. His areas of interest lie in soft tissue surgery, oncology, and diagnostic imaging. In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, especially with his two dogs, Wendy and Winston.

  • Brett Veneklase
    DVM | Associate Veterinarian

    Years in Practice: 12
     Education: Michigan State University
     Special Interests: Ophthalmology, Endocrinology and Dermatology

    Dr. Veneklase is the youngest of 3 children and grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan where his parents still reside.  He completed undergraduate studies in cell biology and genetics at Michigan State University and went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006 also at MSU.  Dr. Veneklase has practiced at Texas Corners Animal Hospital since graduating and has special interests in ophthalmology, endocrinology and dermatology. He enjoys participating in and watching sports, spending time with his wife (Dr. Angela Kautzer), their cat Lily and their dog Mia.

  • Ronald L. Moiles
    DVM | Owner, Hospital Administrator

    Years in Practice: 37
     Education: Michigan State University

    Dr. Ronald L. Moiles is the owner and hospital administrator of Texas Corners Animal Hospital. Dr. Moiles received his veterinary medical degree from Michigan State University in 1981 and has owned Texas Corners Animal Hospital since 1983. Dr. Moiles and his wife Candy have two sons and reside in Texas Township. At home he has an Australian Shepherd named Max as well as several cats. In his spare time, Dr. Moiles enjoys fishing and is an outdoor enthusiast. in addition to Texas Corners Animal Hospital, Dr Moiles also owns Kalamazoo Animal Hospital and also opened Southwest Michigan Animal Emergency and Referral Hospital, the first of its kind in this part of Michigan. The Emergency/Referral Hospital is located at 104 W. Cork Street in Kalamazoo and is open for emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.
